AIS Press Release – February 2018, Washington D.C.
Agile Interoperable Solutions (AIS) has expanded its footprint to international markets with the opening of services to the Asia Pacific region. This region was chosen due to the combination of significant growth it has been experiencing and the demand for communications gear such as the CORE and Mobile CORE. There have been a number of recent natural disasters that have limited or created instability in communications.
The geography of the area, with many islands and remote regions, creates the type of challenge that the CORE is well suited to address for mines, forestry and farming operations as well as government. The recent introduction and mandate of body cameras to monitor operations by law enforcement has also created an enhanced need for a data link in a mobile environment.
AIS’s investment include the placement of a CORE in Manila, Philippines, for demonstration, evaluation and live testing by prospective customers. The Philippines is in fact the country most exposed to tropical storms in the world. And with over 7000 islands and difficult landscape, communication proves to be extremely challenging. Proving our equipment can live up to such challenges and provide the necessary communications will confirm AIS’s technical capability to deliver in the world’s toughest environment. The company looks forward to the deployment of the CORE and Mobile CORE solution to various agencies and private sector customers in the region.
AIS and their flagship product CORE were born out of the real-world need to rapidly establish critical communications in the aftermath of a disaster or rapid deployment of a temporary communications infrastructure. The company is driven by a deep understanding of communications technology, extensive operational experience, and a passionate commitment to supporting our customers, AIS delivers best-in-class interoperable solution.
